In a series of short videos, Michael Kunze offers a free work­shop on the basic prin­ci­ples of drama musi­cal creation.

Top­ics range from the eval­u­a­tion of a story idea and the selec­tion of its pro­tag­o­nists to the essen­tial ele­ments of the musi­cal the­ater and its all-important dra­matic turn­ing points.

 

Clear and con­cise self-expression with­out sound­ing banal – that is the goal. This is valid for any art form, yet I cre­ate musi­cal the­ater. You may call it musi­cal, but what I do dif­fers greatly from its com­mon def­i­n­i­tion. –MK
