Master Class

During his September 2009 keynote speech at the Second European Conference of the Musical Theater Educators Alliance International, “A Tale of Two Cities”, in Hamburg, Germany, Dr. Michael Kunze presented an introductory musical master class.

Interestingly enough, his path from protest song writer to hit musical author reflects in a way the exact structure of a drama musical, and Dr. Kunze welcomes the opportunity to share his experience with the world in this informal master class setting. It shall serve as an example for other musical authors to learn and to benefit from Michael’s proven method of creating a spellbinding work of musical theater.

Mr. Kunze credits his success not so much to his talent as a story teller, but rather to his hard work in researching precisely those elements of an engaging stage performance that touch the emotional core of the theater audience.
